Despite last week's big storm that left at least 6 inches of rain in one night, this week we have been blessed with a great harvest and excited and eager customers

Baby Arugula is a green with a robust spicy flavor. $5 for a 1/2 lb bag

Baby Kale is great eaten raw in smoothies and salads or sauteed with other greens like spinach and arugula (we offer our saute mix with all three greens for $5 for a 1/2 lb bag)

A friend we found in the garden. This is one of the many reasons why we choose to grow with natural methods and without any pesticides or other chemicals.

Greetings from The Shire!
We have been busy building the farm infrastructure and getting all the pieces in place for the season. We are working hard to get our farm stand up and running to provide a convenient place to stop and pickup some produce from the farm.
Some news:

• So far we have 3 types of lettuce, spinach, carrots, beets, arugula and kale growing.
• This week we will be at the Andover Farmers market in the Plaza Shopping Center on Thursday from 4-7pm located off of N Andover Road and Central.
• We've added baby red russian kale to our weekly subscription service. $3 for a.25lb bag or $5 for a .5lb bag
